Class 2 Driver – Bedford (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our Bedford logistics team. You will be responsible for delivering a range of beverages to customers across the region, working closely with the transport manager and warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Operate lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers on schedule.
• Assist Driver’s Mates and warehouse personnel with loading and unloading duties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Utilise local area knowledge to ensure safe, on‑time deliveries.
• Prioritise health and safety in all operational processes.

Required profile

• Current, valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence and CPC Driver Card.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of the Highway Code and relevant driving legislation.
• Familiarity with the Bedford and surrounding region.
• Customer‑service orientation.
• Manual handling experience or willingness to undergo training (provided).
