Class 2 Driver – Construction Materials Delivery

About the role

We are seeking two reliable Class 2 drivers to join a well‑established construction materials supplier in Southeast London. The role involves delivering aggregates, concrete and other essential products to construction sites and commercial customers across the capital.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally to customer and project sites.
• Follow planned routes and instructions from the transport team.
• Complete daily vehicle and safety checks, including load handling.
• Prepare and submit delivery paperwork and vehicle documentation.
• Communicate with customers, site teams and transport management.
• Adhere to site traffic‑management procedures and Driver’s Hours regulations.
• Observe all company health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Valid UK Category C/Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience.
• Good understanding of vehicle checks and driver compliance.
• Reliability, punctuality and professional attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of Class 2 vehicles.
• Use of digital tachograph equipment.
• Compliance with Driver CPC standards.

What we offer

• Pay rate of £16.82 per hour plus holiday pay.
• Early start at 6:00 am, Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
• Average shift of approximately 9.25 hours after breaks.
