Class 2 Driver – Day Shift (Monday‑Friday)

About the role

As a Class 2 Driver working days, you will deliver palletised loads across the South West, handling collections and drop‑offs for businesses and private customers. You will operate a tail‑lift equipped vehicle and ensure safe, on‑time service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑drop palletised deliveries and collections to businesses and private addresses.
• Load and unload using a tail lift and hand‑ball techniques onto trailers.
• Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence or Class 2 C licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Experience driving HGVs (advantageous).
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow instructions.
• Confident, polite, team‑oriented with good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• UK Class 1 CE licence or Class 2 C licence.
• DCPC card.
• Digital tachograph driver card.
