Class 2 Driver – Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our Balby depot and deliver LWC Drinks’ bar and sundry supplies to customers across Yorkshire and Humberside. The role involves safe, friendly deliveries, maintaining the assigned vehicle and providing a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the vehicle each day, performing operator maintenance and ensuring loads are correctly and safely secured.
• Load delivery items, check run sheets, and plan the most efficient route for each shift.
• Complete delivery notes, return sheets and collect payments from customers.
• Handle special customer requests, pick‑up and drop‑off items as indicated on the delivery note.
• Return empty cases and gas bottles to the empties yard and store them properly.
• Communicate any stock shortages or delivery issues to customers promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and complete required checks for the distribution manager.
• Assist in the warehouse when needed and wear the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.

Required profile

• Good safety practices and responsible driving habits.
• Valid Class 2 driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Strong communication and excellent customer‑service skills.
