Class 2 Driver – Delivery to Pubs & Bars

About the role

This is a practical Class 2 driving role delivering drinks to pubs, bars and customers across Northampton. You will combine safe, compliant driving with physical delivery work while representing LWC Drinks with a professional attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Deliver drinks to assigned locations on time, following the planned route.
• Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment and secure loads with restraints.
• Check deliveries against paperwork, collect empties and return them safely.
• Inform customers of any issues, complete delivery paperwork and collect payments where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer premises and operational information.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures, driver‑hours regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Support the warehouse team with loading, sorting returns and other tasks.
• Wear the correct LWC Drinks uniform and present a professional appearance at all times.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules and safe loading practices.
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality and excellent customer service.
