Class 2 Driver (Leyland)

About the role

Join LWC Drinks as a Class 2 Driver, delivering a range of bar and sundry supplies to customers across the Leyland area. You will ensure safe, friendly deliveries while maintaining the condition of your vehicle and upholding high customer‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the vehicle each day, conduct operator maintenance and load deliveries safely.
• Complete delivery notes, return sheets and collect payments.
• Handle special customer requests by picking up and delivering items as indicated on the delivery note.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer premises and operational information.
• Check run sheets, pick orders, plan routes and manage any stock shortage communications.
• Return empty cases and gas bottles to the empties yard and store them correctly.
• Follow health and safety procedures and pass all required checks to the Distribution Manager.
• Assist in the warehouse when needed and wear the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.

Required profile

• Good safety practices and driving habits.
• Valid Class 2 driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.

• Starting salary of £36,395, rising to £38,000 after successful probation.
• Rotating shift pattern: Week 1 Mon‑Fri, Week 2 Tue‑Sat.
