Class 2 Driver – Logistics Role in Cullompton

About the role

As a Class 2 Driver for Carlsberg Britvic you will join a dedicated dray crew, working alongside a Driver’s Mate to deliver beverages to customers across the region. The role involves operating lorries up to 26 tonnes, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring timely, safe deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers.
• Assist Driver’s Mates and warehouse staff with loading and unloading.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication on‑site.
• Plan routes using local knowledge to meet delivery schedules.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 Driver’s Licence.
• CPC Driver Card.
• Current knowledge of the Highway Code.
• Ability to work a 48‑hour week, Monday‑Friday with flexibility for any five days in a seven‑day period.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating heavy goods vehicles up to 26 tonnes.
• Basic understanding of load securing and vehicle safety checks.
