Class 2 Driver – Monday to Friday

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a permanent, Monday‑to‑Friday position based in Chelmsford. You will support a key BT contract, delivering essential equipment across the UK while enjoying a balanced 06:00‑14:00 schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑drop deliveries and collections throughout the UK.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Perform safe manual handling in line with training.
• Use handheld technology (HHT) compliantly for tracking and documentation.
• Conduct dynamic risk assessments at delivery and collection points.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 licence with up‑to‑date CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Less than six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements.
• Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle compliance.
• Team player with professional attitude and reliable timekeeping.
• Willingness to be trained on Forklift and Moffett truck operation.
