About the role
Wild Recruitment are seeking a Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join a local waste collection crew in Portsmouth. This temporary, full‑time position offers a stable Monday‑Friday schedule and a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 HGV dustcart on designated residential and commercial routes.
- Work as part of a two‑ or three‑person crew, assisting loaders with heavy items when required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Required profile
- Valid Category C driving licence, including CPC and digital tachograph certification.
- Minimum six months experience driving HGVs.
- Ability to lift and support loading tasks.
- Team‑oriented attitude with good initiative.
Required skills
- Category C licence
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital tachograph operation
What we offer
- £16.75 per hour PAYE.
- Monday‑Friday shift from 06:00 to 15:00.
- Temporary/ongoing role with potential for extension.
