Class 2 HGV Driver – Building Materials Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV driver to transport building materials to construction sites and customer locations across London and the surrounding area. You will be the face of the company, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely to construction sites and customer locations.
• Collect materials from sites and return them to the depot when required.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Load, unload and secure materials before transport.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Tachograph and Health & Safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR, DD or IN endorsements.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit with a positive, reliable attitude.

What we offer

• £16.82 per hour, paid weekly.
• 6:00 am start with 9‑hour shifts.
• Immediate start.
