Class 2 HGV Driver & Equipment Handler

About the role

We are looking for a Class 2 HGV driver to join our team in Ashford, delivering, installing and handling high-value technical equipment across the South of the UK. The role combines driving a brand-new fleet with hands-on installation work and direct customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGVs to transport equipment to client sites.
• Install and de-install technical equipment on-site.
• Handle high-value cargo safely and securely.
• Load, secure and maintain specialist equipment in the vehicle.
• Provide professional service and liaise with customers at each location.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence.
• Practical ability to install and handle technical equipment.
• Experience with high-value cargo (training provided if lacking).
• Good communication skills for customer-facing work.
• Team-player attitude with willingness to learn health & safety regulations.
