Class 2 HGV Driver – Flexible Ad‑hoc Shifts

About the role

This ad‑hoc position is for an experienced Class 2 HGV driver based in Maidenhead. You will start at 8:00 AM and carry out multi‑drop deliveries for a well‑established drinks distribution client, working flexible shifts that match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV to complete scheduled multi‑drop routes.
• Load and unload goods safely, handling manual lifting as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to traffic and safety regulations.
• Use a digital tachograph and ensure CPC compliance throughout each shift.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the dispatch team.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience with multi‑drop deliveries is preferred.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
