Class 2 HGV Driver (No Weekends or Overnights)

About the role

Travis Perkins plc is hiring a permanent, full-time Class 2 HGV driver for its Keyline Widnes branch. The job covers Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4pm, with no weekends, evenings or overnight stays. You will move civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions from the branch to customers, with regular multi-drop deliveries and returns to reload.

Key responsibilities

• Load the vehicle safely and legally, including using a HIAB (lorry-mounted crane); training to operate a HIAB is fully funded if you do not yet hold the licence.
• Check the vehicle before leaving and keep it clean and tidy.
• Deliver locally and build good relationships with customers.
• Pitch in with loading and unloading.

Required profile

• Category C Class 2 driving licence.
• CPC (DQC card) up to date.
• Recent HGV driving experience; experience with a lorry loader/crane is an advantage but not required.
• Comfortable talking to customers and taking safety seriously.
