Class 2 HGV Driver – Stamford

About the role

Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders' merchant, is hiring a full-time, permanent Class 2 HGV driver in Stamford, Lincolnshire. The role involves delivering building materials from the branch to local customers, with no overnights or evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, keeping everything safe and sound.
• Load the vehicle with the HIAB, check that it is properly packed and legal, and make around 14 drops a day.
• Keep a professional image as the branch's face on the road.
• Reload at the branch when needed.

Required profile

• Class 2 driving licence, up-to-date CPC records, and a Category B licence held for 12+ months.
• Confidence in building and developing customer relationships.
• Safety-first approach to every task.
• HIAB experience is not required; HIAB training is fully funded and arranged by the branch.
