Class 2 HGV Driver – Temp to Perm

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our client’s logistics team in the Bury area. The position is a 12‑week temporary role with the potential to become permanent, delivering goods across the North West, North Wales and Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to businesses, completing 5‑10 drops per day depending on the route.
• Perform daily driver checks and complete required paperwork.
• Load and unload goods, including occasional heavy lifting.
• Return used materials to the depot and provide a professional service to customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience driving a Class 2 HGV.
• Valid CPC, Digi‑Tacho and Class 2 HGV licence.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (insurance requirement).
• Physically fit to handle manual duties.

What we offer

• £14.00 per hour initially, with reviews after the temporary period.
