Class 2 HGV Driver – Temporary (Dunstable)

About the role

Insight Employment is seeking experienced Class 2 HGV drivers for a temporary position based in Dunstable. The role covers holiday and sickness cover for a client, offering a chance to work regular routes within a 30‑mile radius.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 HGV equipped with a tail lift and pump truck.
• Complete 15‑20 delivery drops per day, adhering to scheduled routes.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and use a tachograph as required.
• Provide courteous customer service at each delivery point.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of Class 2 HGV driving experience.
• Valid CPC card and tachograph licence.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points and no CD, DD, DR, IN endorsements.
• Physically fit, reliable and able to work Monday‑Friday, starting between 06:30‑07:30 (occasionally 05:30‑07:30).
• Good geographical knowledge of the Dunstable area.

What we offer
