Class 2 HGV Driver – Woking (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 (C) driver to join Royal Mail’s trunking network, operating between depots in the South East of England. The role is temporary, running through the remainder of 2026, and offers a variety of shift patterns including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots on planned routes.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision and adhere to timetable commitments.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 / C licence held for at least 2 years.
• Current CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• Maximum six penalty points on the licence.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Required skills
