Class 2 Multidrop Driver – Palletised Freight

About the role

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established haulage firm for an experienced Class 2 Multidrop Driver. You will deliver palletised freight to commercial customers across the UK, working Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturdays on a rota.

Key responsibilities

• Perform long‑distance deliveries throughout the UK, starting at 7:00 am.
• Unload pallets using a pump truck (or forklift where required).
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork.

Required profile

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum two years’ Class 2 driving experience.
• Experience with 18‑tonne or 26‑tonne curtain‑side tail‑lift vehicles.
• Ability to strap loads securely and follow H&S regulations.
