Class 2 Night Driver – Fixed‑Term (4 months)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Class 2 Night Driver to join our Cullompton depot on a 4‑month fixed‑term contract. You will operate temperature‑controlled trailers during night shifts, delivering chilled and ambient loads to hubs in Ernesettle, Mitchell, or Southampton.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out trunking operations using a temperature‑controlled trailer.
• Load, secure and protect goods with straps, nets or other devices.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team.
• Attend training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK Class 2 C licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Customer‑service focus with clear, courteous communication.
• Ability to work to tight schedules while maintaining safety.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude and independent work capability.
• Good geographical knowledge and route‑planning awareness.
