About the role

Responsive Personnel are seeking a Class 2 Refuse Driver for a client in Trowbridge. The position starts immediately, offers long‑term work and follows a temporary‑to‑permanent pathway. The role begins at 06:00 each day and pays £15.50 per hour.

Key responsibilities

Drive waste and recycling vehicles safely along a pre‑planned route.
Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Assist with loading the vehicle when required.
Ensure the vehicle is unloaded, refuelled and ready for the next day.
Comply with all company health and safety policies.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Maintain a flexible approach to working hours and allocated tasks.

Required profile

Valid Class 2 driving licence.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
Flexible attitude towards shift patterns and duties.
