Class 2 Skip Driver

About the role

Premier Work Support is recruiting a Class 2 Skip Driver to operate domestic skip trucks across Essex. The role is full‑time, permanent and based onsite, offering a stable career for drivers with the right licence and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver domestic skips to and from customer locations throughout Essex.
• Follow scheduled routes Monday‑Friday, typically 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility for business needs.
• Ensure safe loading, unloading and transport of skips in compliance with road‑traffic regulations.
• Maintain basic vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Class 2 driving licence for at least one year.
• Minimum three months experience driving skip trucks.
• Age 23 years or older.
• No more than three penalty points on the driving licence.

Required skills

• Class 2 driving licence.
• Proficiency in operating skip trucks safely.
• Understanding of road safety and vehicle maintenance basics.
