Class 2 Tanker Driver – Water & Drainage Operations

About the role

FM Conway is looking for a reliable Class 2 Tanker Driver to join its Water and Drainage Management team in Northington, Hampshire. You will operate a Class 2 liquid‑waste tanker, supporting flood management, drainage response and emergency works while working independently on site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 Liquid Waste Tanker safely in line with company procedures and legislation.
• Deliver flood‑management, drainage response and reactive emergency works to protect communities and critical infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to urgent call‑outs, including weekend and night shifts, and be prepared for extended duties in emergencies.
• Accurately record and report all work performed, flagging any additional issues for follow‑up.
• Use the company’s app‑based reporting system to update job progress, upload photos or videos, and communicate with the wider team.

Required profile

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence and Driver CPC.
• Committed to health and safety and able to work independently.
• Available for 10‑hour shifts, including weekends and occasional overtime.
• Previous drainage industry experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
