Class 2 Tipper Driver

About the role

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking Class 2 Tipper Drivers to operate tipper vehicles on weekdays, starting at 6:45 am. You will deliver aggregate materials to construction sites and quarries, receiving full training and consistent work throughout the week.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver aggregates to construction sites and quarries according to schedule.
• Adhere to health & safety standards and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate time‑keeping and provide courteous customer service.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence with CPC and Digi‑Tacho card.
• Licence held for at least one year.
• Good knowledge of health & safety procedures.
• Strong time‑keeping and customer‑service abilities.
• Previous tipper experience is desirable but not essential.

What we offer

• Weekly PAYE or PAYE‑Advanced pay, £14.75‑£16.97 per hour.
• Minimum of 8 paid hours per shift.
