About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join a highly regarded faith‑based primary school in Lambeth, starting September 2026. The school is oversubscribed, community‑focused and committed to the whole‑child development, offering a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well‑sequenced lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Support pupils’ progress in phonics, literacy and numeracy.
- Create a nurturing, purposeful classroom environment and maintain high behaviour standards.
- Use assessment data to identify next steps and tailor learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and parents to enhance pupil wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent UK primary teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of KS1 teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom management and high expectations for achievement.
- Commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school.
