About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Class Teacher to join our two‑form entry primary school in Sunbury‑on‑Thames. The role starts in September 2026 and is open to both newly qualified teachers and experienced staff on the Main or Upper Pay Scale.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Maintain high expectations and effective classroom management for all pupils.
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of children.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
