Class Two Delivery Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 (LGV C) driver to join our client’s team in Exeter. The role involves servicing customers across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, operating a specialist collection vehicle and handling large 1,000‑litre bins.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (LGV C) vehicle.
• Complete daily routes across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
• Service 15‑25 customer locations per shift.
• Empty 1,000‑litre bins into a Specialist Collection Vehicle (SCV).
• Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service at each collection point.
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to driver regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Category C (Class 2/LGV C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working‑time regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Physically capable of regular manual handling.
