Cleaner – 9 Vacancies

About the role

We are recruiting nine cleaners to maintain a safe and hygienic environment within school premises. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, use of specialised equipment and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, corridors, restrooms and communal areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor polishers and pressure washers.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and other health‑and‑safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any hazards or maintenance issues to the facilities team.
• Collaborate with other staff members to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of school cleaning requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet specific deadlines and use initiative.
• Effective communication skills in English and the ability to follow instructions.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a flexible approach to work.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation, including COSHH.
