Cleaner – Cockermouth

About the role
We are looking for reliable and motivated cleaners to join the team at the Royal Mail site in Cockermouth. This full‑time temporary position offers a stable work schedule and the chance to work for a well‑known organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Clean operational areas including sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets and offices.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in high‑traffic environments.
- Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete routine cleaning checklists and report site needs.
- Work as part of a cleaning team or independently across large areas.
Required profile
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Reliability and good time‑keeping.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
Required skills
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures (training provided if needed).
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71.
- Monday‑to‑Friday shift from 07:00 to 14:00.
- Start date ASAP with assignment running until 2 October 2026.
