Cleaner – Edinburgh

About the role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking cleaners to support operations at Royal Mail sites in Edinburgh. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and visitors across a range of operational areas.
Key responsibilities
- Clean sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets, and office spaces.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in high‑traffic environments.
- Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete routine cleaning checklists and report any site needs.
- Work both as part of a cleaning team and independently across large areas.
Required profile
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Reliability and good time‑keeping.

- Cleaning equipment operation
What we offer
- Monday‑Friday shifts from 06:00 to 14:00.
- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Temporary assignment starting ASAP, with a defined end date.
- On‑site training for the right candidate.
