Cleaner – Part-time (10 hrs/week) – Swindon

About the role
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Cleaner to join our team at Gorse Hill Primary School. The role involves keeping the school environment clean, tidy and safe for pupils and staff. You will work on‑site, primarily during school hours, on a permanent part‑time basis with the possibility of additional casual hours.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
- Collect and dispose of waste in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to school staff.
Required profile
- Some previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety.
Required skills
- Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
What we offer
- Permanent part‑time contract (10 hrs/week) with the option of casual hours.
- Hourly rate of £13.28.
