Cleaner – Social Housing (Temporary)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join a busy social housing contract in Crewe on a temporary basis until September. The role involves maintaining communal areas of 2‑ and 3‑storey apartment blocks, ensuring they remain clean, safe and presentable for residents.
Key responsibilities
- Clean communal hallways, stairwells and entrance areas.
- Sweep, mop and vacuum communal spaces.
- Clean internal windows, doors and handrails.
- Remove litter from communal areas.
- Sanitise touch points and high‑traffic areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard.
Required profile
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within social housing, residential or commercial environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual with a strong work ethic.
Required skills
- Use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops and sweepers.
What we offer
