Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at Outwood Academy Bydales in Redcar. Working 17.5 hours per week, you will ensure the site meets the highest cleanliness standards while supporting the Soft Services Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate cleaning staff to meet contractual KPIs.
• Organise duty rotas, cover arrangements and complete staff timesheets.
• Allocate work, perform quality checks and resolve issues.
• Assist with site waste‑management procedures and health & safety compliance.
• Conduct quality audits in partnership with the Soft Services Manager.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong customer‑care attitude and ability to work independently.
• Good initiative, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
