Cleaning Technician

About the role

Sanctuary Group is looking for a Cleaning Technician to join its Property Services team in Welwyn Garden City. This full‑time position involves providing a high‑quality cleaning service across multiple sites, primarily working independently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Identify and report potential hazards or faults to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide accurate updates on the progress of assigned tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and manage stock levels.
• Deliver a professional, courteous, and customer‑focused service.
• Complete required paperwork during the workday.

Required profile

• Good understanding of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer care abilities.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize workloads.
• Full, valid driving licence due to travel requirements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidelines.
• Experience operating cleaning machinery.
• Valid driving licence.
