Cleaning Technician – Part‑time (16 hrs/week)

About the role

Sanctuary Group is seeking a part‑time Cleaning Technician to join its Estate Services Team in Birkenhead. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at an Assisted Living site for residents over 50, working across communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens and offices.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures.
• Identify and report hazards or faults to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist customers, respond to complaints and service breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily work records and provide clear progress updates.
• Keep tools and equipment in good condition and ensure stock levels are maintained.

Required profile

• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C GCSE English and Maths.
• British Institute Certificate in cleaning services or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience of general cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills.
