Cleanroom Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Account Manager for our Cleanroom division. You will be the primary contact for a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high‑quality service, driving retention and identifying growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact, delivering consistent, high‑level service to customers.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships by understanding client needs and future requirements.
• Drive customer retention, identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, and support new business development.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as retention rates, sales growth and customer acquisition.
• Analyse customer data, trends, complaints and lost business to implement improvements.
• Negotiate service agreements, commercial terms, pricing and renewals.
• Address service concerns and outstanding debt professionally and solution‑focused.
• Identify risks and opportunities within accounts and escalate when necessary.
• Achieve annual growth targets for the portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, sales or service management, preferably with technical or service‑based solutions.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret data to drive improvements.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Understanding of cleanroom environments, ISO standards and contamination control.
• Knowledge of cleanroom products such as garments, gloves, goggles and mops.
• Familiarity with sterilisation processes (irradiation, autoclaving) and pharmaceutical/biotech quality standards.
