Client Account Manager – Tax

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Client Account Manager to join a respected independent accountancy practice. This hybrid role allows you to influence service delivery across accounts, tax and advisory work while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Review statutory accounts and a range of business and personal tax returns.
• Oversee quality control across the accounts and tax function.
• Manage workflow, deadlines and team capacity.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Act as a technical point of contact for colleagues.
• Build strong client relationships and provide ongoing advice.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with practice experience.
• Proven ability to review accounts and tax work.
• Experience managing client portfolios.
• Collaborative leadership style and strong communication skills.
• Proactive approach to improving processes.
