Client Accounting Services Senior Advisor

About the role

TC Group, a fast‑growing top‑20 UK accountancy firm, is seeking a Client Accounting Services Senior Advisor for its Stanley office. You will act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of ambitious business owners, delivering high‑quality management accounting, financial reporting and strategic advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a client portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
• Prepare, review and present management accounts, providing accurate reporting and actionable insights.
• Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning to support decision‑making.
• Oversee client workflows and review work completed by Advisors and Apprentices, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Lead implementation, migration and optimisation of cloud‑based accounting systems.
• Identify opportunities to add value and promote additional services.
• Support resource planning, billing management and departmental projects.
• Coach and develop junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified by experience).
• Minimum 5 years of accountancy experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proven experience delivering management accounts, budgeting and financial analysis.
• Experience with cloud accounting solutions and client advisory work.

What we offer

• Salary £38,000‑£48,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 35‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday, with flexible hybrid working after probation.
