Client Accounts Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role
Join a supportive, vibrant practice that values your expertise. As a Client Accounts Manager you will own a portfolio of diverse clients, build trusted relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery while guiding junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a go‑to advisor.
- Review and approve statutory year‑end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Assess the quality of VAT returns and bookkeeping data.
- Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax and self‑assessment returns.
- Provide technical accounting and business advice to clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified.
- Experience in an accountancy practice, including staff oversight and work review.
- Strong knowledge of UK statutory and tax compliance.
- Commercial awareness and proactive mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks.
