Client Care Assistant – Veterinary Practice

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Client Care Assistant to join our fast‑growing veterinary practice in Woking. You will be the first point of contact for pet owners, helping to create a welcoming experience while supporting the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude.
• Answer incoming calls, emails and client enquiries promptly.
• Book appointments and manage the practice diary.
• Process payments and address basic financial queries.
• Maintain accurate client and patient records.
• Provide administrative support to veterinary surgeons and nurses.
• Keep the reception area tidy, organised and inviting.
• Offer reassurance and guidance to clients during stressful situations.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and passionate about excellent client care.
• Confident communicator, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Organised, reliable and able to handle a busy workload.
• Team‑player who enjoys supporting colleagues.
• Compassionate and empathetic towards pets and owners.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication.
• Basic computer literacy for handling emails, scheduling software and record‑keeping.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
