Client Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Client Development Manager to join a leading London law firm. Working closely with the Senior Client Experience Manager, partners and the Business Development team, you will help embed a firm‑wide approach to managing client and referrer relationships and drive strategic initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Support partners in building and strengthening relationships with key clients and referrers.
• Manage a portfolio of priority accounts, delivering account plans and tracking actions.
• Coordinate client and referrer activity across teams to ensure a consistent, joined‑up approach.
• Prepare partner briefings, account plans and updates to facilitate effective relationship management.
• Gather, analyse and report client data, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
• Support the development and optimisation of CRM systems and relationship‑management tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve client experience, mitigate risk and embed best practice across the firm.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a client‑relationship role within a law firm.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, including partners.
• Proactive, commercially minded attitude with a passion for client development.
• Strong analytical capability to turn data into actionable recommendations.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and relationship‑management tools.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
