Client Manager – Accounting Services

About the role

Join a fast‑growing chartered accountancy firm in Liskeard as a Client Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and related services to a diverse portfolio of SMEs, OMBs and larger corporate clients, while leading a small support team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end preparation of year‑end accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Oversee and review work of trainees and senior accountants, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Maintain and develop long‑term client relationships across multiple sectors.
• Monitor a fee base of approximately £200k and contribute to business growth.
• Collaborate with other professional services such as wealth management and legal teams.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, AAT, ATT or CTA.
• Proven experience at a Client Manager level within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience handling a mixed‑industry client portfolio with turnovers ranging from small businesses to multi‑million‑pound companies.
