Client Manager

About the role

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Client Manager for a well‑established Chartered Accountancy firm in Salisbury. The role is ideal for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing a diverse portfolio of businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships across multiple sectors.
• Review statutory accounts, management accounts and corporation tax returns prepared by the wider team.
• Act as the primary point of contact, providing commercial and technical advice to clients.
• Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities and collaborate with specialist teams.
• Oversee client deadlines, budgets and workflow to ensure efficient delivery.
• Support, mentor and review the work of junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) with relevant practice experience.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently within a UK Chartered Accountancy firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts and business taxation.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Well‑organised with the capacity to prioritise multiple deadlines.
