Client Manager

About the role

Join a respected Chartered Accountancy Practice as a Client Manager, overseeing a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses across diverse industries. You will act as the primary adviser on accounting, tax and business support matters, helping clients grow while ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner‑managed business clients, serving as the main point of contact.
• Review statutory accounts, management accounts and provide commercial insight.
• Oversee corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for directors and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Deliver proactive tax planning advice and identify tax‑saving opportunities.
• Support day‑to‑day accounting, compliance and business matters.
• Monitor client deadlines to ensure timely filing of accounts and tax obligations.
• Supervise, mentor and review work of junior team members.
• Collaborate with the Director on advisory projects and business development.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Client Manager or Senior Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of personal and corporate tax matters.
• Ability to build long‑term client relationships and take ownership of a varied portfolio.
• Excellent commercial insight and advisory skills.
