Client Manager / Senior Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role

This is a genuine client‑management position within a well‑established independent practice in East Sussex. You will own larger assignments, act as the trusted point of contact for owners and directors, and enjoy a varied portfolio from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Run company accounts and statutory work across your client portfolio.
• Prepare management accounts, cash‑flow forecasts and ad‑hoc financial analyses.
• Handle corporation tax computations, including CT600 returns.
• Support partners with due‑diligence work on sales and acquisitions.
• Advise clients on accounting systems and provide training where needed.
• Conduct audit work as part of the mix, limited to roughly 35‑40% of your time.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid practice experience.
• Confident in leading client relationships and delivering high‑level advisory work.
• Enjoys variety and seeks long‑term growth rather than a plateau.
