Client Relationship Manager – Accounting Practice

About the role

Join a historic, award‑winning accounting practice serving a diverse portfolio of clients across Cumbria. As a Client Relationship Manager you will act as the primary point of contact, delivering high‑quality financial services and helping clients grow profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and review financial accounts, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Identify and discuss any barriers to completion or opportunities for additional income.
• Resolve outstanding client queries before final account sign‑off.
• Prepare business tax computations and support income‑tax reviews.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns on behalf of clients.
• Maintain accurate client accounting records and management accounts.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with practice experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client‑focused mindset with a commercial outlook.

What we offer

• Salary £44,000‑£50,000 plus 17% bonus (total package £52,000‑£58,000).
