Client Relationship Manager – Financial Planning

About the role

This hybrid position supports advisers and clients throughout the financial planning journey, from the first enquiry to ongoing reviews. You will act as the main liaison, ensuring high‑quality service and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Enter new leads and prospects into the back‑office system and keep records up to date.
• Attach adviser correspondence and relevant documentation to client files.
• Prepare and issue compliance packs for client meetings.
• Chase outstanding documentation, upload completed paperwork and manage risk‑profile questionnaires.
• Set up clients on the client portal, issue and track fee agreements, and schedule first review meetings.
• Maintain AML documentation and ensure client platform cash levels meet charge and income requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing prompt responses and clear communication.
• Coordinate client meetings, prepare adviser diaries, and liaise with internal departments and external providers.
• Generate, issue and maintain client Fact Finds and support suitability report preparation.

Required profile

• Highly organised and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with advisers, paraplanners and external providers.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with three days on‑site per week.
