Client Services Administrator – Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking a Client Services Administrator to join a Wealth Management team in Canterbury. The role is office‑based, with parking available, and involves supporting the end‑to‑end new business process for client portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit all new business forms and create New Business Events.
• Update risk and NTU status, progress cases to transfer completion, and ensure plans are placed on risk.
• Maintain accurate client records in X‑Plan, including full plan details, fund accounts, and contract notes.
• Communicate with clients and advisers, sending policy documents, fortnightly case updates, and arranging medical appointments.
• Coordinate fund switches, re‑broking, and ensure compliance sign‑off before final submission.
• Close off transferred or re‑broked plans following correct procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of wealth management processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, advisers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
