Client Services Specialist – Financial Planning

About the role

This position supports a growing financial planning practice, handling pre‑sale and post‑sale administration for client portfolios. Working hybrid from Berkhamsted, you will ensure advisers have accurate information and documentation ahead of client meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update client data in the XPLAN system and generate Wealth Reports.
• Prepare Letters of Authority, policy checklists and other documentation for new business and review cases.
• Assist advisers with meeting preparation, providing complete files and relevant research.
• Produce basic reports such as fund switches, reviews and new business cases.
• Research using FE, Defaqto and Cashcalc tools.
• Submit applications to providers both online and via manual forms, ensuring timely case progression.
• Maintain compliant client files and support paraplanners with wider administrative duties.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with clients, providers and partners professionally.

• Organised with effective workload prioritisation.
