Client Services Team Leader

About the role

Recruit UK is seeking a Client Services Team Leader for a well‑established wealth management firm. The role involves leading a team of around ten wealth administrators and personal assistants, ensuring advisers receive top‑class operational support and clients enjoy an outstanding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Wealth Administrators and PAs across multiple offices.
• Manage workloads, capacity and service levels, conducting regular 1‑2‑1s and performance reviews.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex client and wealth administration queries.
• Collaborate with advisers, paraplanners and compliance to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other office locations monthly.
• Previous experience in wealth management or financial planning.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team in an administration or client support environment.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes, FCA regulations and industry terminology.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable delivering regular coaching and 1‑2‑1s.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial planning back‑office systems such as Intelligent Office (or similar).
