Client Side Project Manager (Construction Fit-out)

About the role

A leading organisation is seeking a client‑side Architectural Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of a major expansion and refurbishment programme across a complex live operational estate in Glasgow. This role offers a client‑side opportunity for professionals with a background in construction, engineering or architecture who wish to develop their project‑management career, supporting the programme through design, procurement, construction and operational handover.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with managing the full life‑cycle of a major refurbishment and fit‑out project.
• Act as the client’s project representative, ensuring designs are delivered correctly on site.
• Track design deliverables, consultant performance, programme milestones and project risks.
• Coordinate information between consultants, contractors, internal stakeholders and third parties.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, dashboards and governance reports.
• Monitor construction progress and help minimise disruption to ongoing operations.

Required profile

• Degree in construction, engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors or technical disciplines in a site environment.
• Proven experience delivering projects on a live operational site.
• Experience within transport infrastructure (aviation, airport, rail, station, port) is advantageous.
• Must be resident in the UK, eligible to work, and able to commute to Glasgow.
